Hope Academy for Counselor Excellence

Hope Academy for Counselor Excellence offers services in Wyndhurst (Lynchburg), Appomattox, and Bedford as well as at our primary office in Downtown Lynchburg (on the bus line, with free parking), offering free or low-cost counseling with our caring and compassionate counselors-in-training. We remove barriers and don’t sacrifice excellence.

Service Rates

Our counselors-in-training accept Medicaid as well as commercial insurance. While Medicaid completely covers counseling sessions, we do have low self-pay rates for commercial insurance. These are listed below. Please feel free to ask any questions about payment when you reach out to initiate services.

Self-Pay Rates

Services:

• Outpatient Counseling with Resident Clinician – $60 per session

• Outpatient Counseling with Graduate Student – $35 per session

• Outpatient Group Counseling – $20 per session

• Psychological Evaluation with PsyD Practicum Student – Varies from test-to-test
